Dr. Peltz received his MD and PhD from Stanford University, and is certified as a specialist in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He was a research executive at a large pharmaceutical company for 17 years, and was selected by Nature Publications as one of the top 10 Pharma research executives worldwide. Dr. Peltz became a full professor in 2008 at the Stanford University Medical School. He has more than 124 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Peltz loves watching Stanford basketball and football games, and is a big fan of the Warriors. His goal is to have his group members become as enthusiastic about science and basketball as he is.
